Scanning Slides

Yesterday was a scan-marathon at my house. I’m grateful that I had a camera with a macro lens all the years ago when I was creating most prolifically. Sculptures and paintings I gifted and sold are cataloged.  I deeply regret adopting out my artwork. Maybe that’s unusual. Maybe it isn’t. Visual arts aren’t so much “shared” as the performing arts. Once a sculpture or painting leaves the house it could be anywhere in the world, traveling from hand to hand or being thrown in a dump. Ouch!

I’m debating with myself about how to present the children on this website. Probably a slideshow would be the best bet.

Come back and see.

Welcome to my newest adventure!

Here we are in the middle of a worldwide pandemic with lots of time on our collective hands. Rather than remain sitting, listening to my backside widen, I opted to build a new website. This one will concentrate on sharing my visual arts. Maybe my backside will still get a bit broader, but at least my mind is in action.

Stay tuned.
